Hey Y'all! :) Sorry I have been 'MIA' this week. I have been visiting family and friends. The kids, Sophie & I just got back from Columbia, SC. last night. I'll be posting pictures of it this weekend.
Mackenzie had lost one of her top front teeth on Sunday. And the other one had become really loose. Her tooth was literally just hanging there. (yuck!) Everyone begged her to pull it out & she said, "nope...I'm just not ready."
Clay even told her the story of when he was a boy and how he swallowed it in his sleep. It didn't seem to phase her.
He said, "Sissy, if you swallow it or lose it - the tooth fairy will not come. She won't come, because she will not have a tooth to take."
She said, "Dad, it will be fine!"
Last night when we got back - I had the kids take a bath. I went in to wash their hair and Mackenzie was just talking and laughing and I realized it was gone!
I said, "Sissy! where is your tooth?!" lol...she didn't even realize it was gone. We both started laughing. She stopped laughing & gasped...
Mackenzie: "OH my Gosh! I must have swallowed it!"
Me: "oh well...We told you that might happen. Now the Tooth Fairy won't come"
Mackenzie: "Wait...I have a plan!"
She went in my room and got the tooth box. It is a box shaped like a tooth that I use to have when I was a little girl. The kids put their lost teeth inside and put in under the pillow.
She got out a pen & paper. Hmmm? What was she up to?
This little one has always been very creative.
She wrote the tooth fairy a letter. The empty tooth box was to 'lure the TF to the pillow so she will read her note."

She 'actually' (such a big word for her to write) asked for forgiveness from the TF! Come on! How is this not pulling on my heart string?! So I'm pretty sure she got a dollar under her pillow. :)

Hope you all have a great Friday!
