I love this idea, because more times than not - I am the one behind the camera. I don't want my kids to say, 'Mom where were you in this picture?'

After the Cheer competition we went out to eat at Chili's. Courtney and I grabbed at least 1 picture of us before my phone died. :\ But 1 is better than none! :)

I know it seems I have a lot of pictures of me and Killian on here lately - but hopefully with school out in 2 weeks, (THANK GOD!!!) I will be getting a slew of pictures of me and all the kids.
On Tuesday, I finally went to the DMV to get my North Carolina Drivers License. I have been putting this off for almost 4 years :( I know I know...
But I got it! I passed every question, every sign they threw at me, the eye exam....all of it!
I am a terrible test taker so naturally the anxiety of it all kept me from going...but also because it is hard to take the driving test with 3 small children. Both of those factors combined with:
DMV: 'You can't get your driver's license until you have registration for your car with your new name on it. Oh! but you can't register your car until you have a NC license...
Really?! They make it ridiculous to obtain residency and change everything over from SC to NC.
Anyway...that is all done. I am so thrilled & relieved!
After I finished, I came home and Clay took me and Killian out for brunch. He happen to catch a few pictures while we were finishing up. Killian was in a very silly mood. :)

ReplyDeleteGoodness the NC DMV sounds like something from parking wars. Have you seen that show? They give people a total run around (sometimes its for a good reason) but sometimes I am scratching my head as well wondering why are they going in circles :-) happy that you finally got your license and that you don't have to worry about it anymore :-)

Love this blog day!! i totally agree about having lots of pictures of the kid not in school- i have one in and three at home, so it seems like my one is left out of a lot of pictures...i feel bad! so we take A LOT of pictures during the summer!!
